LTIMindtree appoints Gururaj Deshpande as Chief Delivery Officer

LTIMindtree has appointed Gururaj Deshpande as its new Chief Delivery Officer (CDO), according to an internal mail seen by Moneycontrol.

Deshpande will report to CEO and Managing Director Venu Lambu. In his new role, he will oversee LTIMindtree’s Delivery Units, Talent Solutions functions (including Talent Acquisition, Workforce Management, Shoshin, and Mobility), Global Delivery Centres, and Delivery Excellence.

According to the mail, Deshpande will be responsible for driving the company’s growth agenda by strengthening end-to-end client delivery, accelerating AI integration at the account level, and building differentiated domain capabilities. His mandate also includes enhancing operational excellence, scaling global delivery presence, and expanding talent solutions.

Deshpande joins LTIMindtree from EY (Ernst & Young), where he served as Global Operations and Product Delivery Leader for Client Technology. He led a global Products and Platforms Engineering team during his tenure.

He previously held multiple leadership roles at Infosys, including Global Delivery Head for Financial Services, Global Head of Digital Transformation, COO of EdgeVerve, and Center Head of the Bengaluru Development Center.

He also served as Chairman of the Electronics City Industrial Township Authority (ELCITA).

Deshpande holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Mysore and has completed the Stanford Global Leadership Program.

The company has confirmed the appointment following a query from Moneycontrol.
