HCLTech on January 23 announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Finergic Solutions for $14.88 million. The Singapore-headquartered boutique consulting firm is focused on core banking and wealth management transformation.
The transaction is expected to close by April 30, 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2019, Finergic specialises in transformation strategy, consulting and wealth architecture for financial institutions, with a strong presence across global markets. The acquisition is aimed at enhancing HCLTech’s digital transformation capabilities in the wealth management and financial services segment.
HCLTech said the integration of Finergic’s niche domain expertise with its global scale is expected to unlock operational synergies and improve service delivery for wealth management clients. The Noida-headquartered IT services giant has over 25 years of experience in serving global financial institutions and supports more than 40 banks worldwide.
Srinivasan Seshadri, Chief Growth Officer and Global Head - Financial Services, HCLTech said, "With Finergic’s focused domain expertise, HCLTech is strategically positioned to strengthen its digital services capabilities in wealth management.”
"This transformative transaction enables us to deliver advanced capabilities, foster innovation and unlock substantial synergies—empowering our clients to realize greater business outcomes across the financial services landscape,” he added.
Finergic’s co-founders—Ganesh Swaminathan, Saravanan Kandaswamy and Senthil Kumar Sekar—said joining HCLTech would enable the firm to scale its capabilities and create new growth opportunities for its team. They highlighted strong alignment in vision and complementary strengths between the two organisations.
This is HCLTech’s fourth acquisition in in less than three months. The company has already spent over $400 million in M&A. Previously, HCLTech acquired HPE’s Telco Solutions business for $160 million, AI startup Wobby for $5.2 million and Jaspersoft for $240 million.
