What is Economic Survey?

Prepared by the Department of Economic Affairs under the Union Minister of Finance, the Economic Survey is the document that has details, data about the Indian economy, welfare schemes and much more. Under supervision of Chief Economic Advisor (CEA) V Anantha Nageswaran, this document is prepared and will be presented tomorrow.

When will Economic Survey be presented?

It all starts with the Budget Session of Parliament. The session will begin tomorrow at 11:00 am in New Delhi tomorrow. The Economic Survey will be presented on the first day of the Budget Session. Prepared by the Chief Economic Advisor, the Economic Survey is presented in Parliament by Finance Minister. Tomorrow, Nirmala Sitharaman will present the survey in Parliament shortly after President’s address to the joint session.
