PL Capital has come out with its second quarter (July-September’ 24) earnings estimates for the Metal & Mining sector. The brokerage house expects JSW Steel to report net profit at Rs. 1,550 crore down 35.2% year-on-year (up 83.3% quarter-on-quarter).
Net Sales are expected to decrease by 0.4 percent Y-o-Y (up 3.4 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 44,410 crore, according to PL Capital.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are likely to fall by 21.4 percent Y-o-Y (up 12.5 percent Q-o-Q) to Rs. 6,200 crore.
