Bharti, Comviva in pact for Africa mobile VAS

Bharti Airtel, India's biggest mobile operator, said on Wednesday mobile software maker Comviva will manage its value-added services across 16 African operations under a five-year deal.

    Bharti Airtel, India's biggest mobile operator, said on Wednesday mobile software maker Comviva will manage its value-added services across 16 African operations under a five-year deal.


    Financial details were not disclosed.

    Comviva is partly owned by Bharti Airtel's parent Bharti Group, while WestBridge Capital, Sequoia Capital India and Cisco Systems are the other investors in the company.
