    Sun Pharmaceutical Industries expects revenue to rise 28-30% in the year ending March 2012, a top company official said on Monday.


    Revenue in 2010/11 had climbed 43% to Rs 5,721 crore (USD 1.3 billion).


    The company also plans to spend Rs 4,500 crore in capital expenditure for the current fiscal year, Chairman and Managing Director Dilip Shanghvi said on an earnings call.

    Over the weekend, the Mumbai-based drugmaker reported a better-than-expected 12% rise in net profit for the quarter ended March.
