Ashok Leyland Jan sales slip to 7,711 units

Ashok Leyland, India's second largest commercial vehicle maker, said it sold 7,711 units in January, down 2% from 7,871 units a year ago.

Ashok Leyland, India's second largest commercial vehicle maker, said it sold 7,711 units in January, down 2% from 7,871 units a year ago.

Domestic sales for January came in at 6,880 units versus 7,460 units in the same period last year. Exports rose to 831 units from 411.
