Central Bank of India's workmen employee director end his tenure

Central Bank of India has informed that Shri B. S. Rambabu, Workmen Employee Director ceased to be the Director of the Bank w.e.f. March 16, 2013 consequent upon expiry of his term on March 15, 2013.

Central Bank of India has informed BSE that Shri B. S. Rambabu, Workmen Employee Director ceased to be the Director of the Bank w.e.f. March 16, 2013 consequent upon expiry of his term on March 15, 2013.Shri B. S. Rambabu was earlier nominated by Government of India as Workmen Employee Director under clause (e) of sub-section 3 of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 read with sub-clause (1) & (2) of Clause 9 of the Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970 with effect from March 16, 2010 for a period of three years or till he ceases to be a workmen employee of the Bank or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.Source : BSE
