Skoda Auto India is set to launch its inaugural electric vehicle, the Enyaq iV, in the Indian market at a later date, as per a report by News18. Earlier this month, Skoda showcased the Enyaq iV at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi.
Here’s everything you need to know about design, safety and other features of Enyaq iV:
Design
The Enyaq iV boasts a design with an illuminated grille, LED headlights and distinctive L-shaped LED daytime running lights.
The exterior features contrast black inserts and aero-inspired alloy wheels (19-inch Proteus alloy wheels on the Lounge trim). The rear includes wraparound LED tail lights, an integrated spoiler and a shark-fin antenna, giving the SUV a sophisticated appearance.
The Enyaq has a wheelbase of 2,765 mm and dimensions of 4,648 mm in length, 1,877 mm in width, and 1,618 mm in height, giving it a spacious yet compact profile
Safety and other features
Safety features include nine airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, a tyre pressure monitoring system and a 360-degree camera.
Technological features include a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a head-up display, panoramic sunroof, powered driver seat with massage function, heated front and rear seats, and three-zone climate control.
Power
The SUV is equipped with a 77kWh battery pack and dual electric motors, delivering a combined output of 265hp. The MEB platform, shared with the Volkswagen ID.4, ensures reliable and efficient performance.
