Prime Minister Narendra Modi hailed the verdict of 'Janta Janardan' after it was clear that BJP is getting control of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the assembly elections.

"We bow to the Janta Janardan. The results in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan indicate that the people of India are firmly with politics of good governance and development, which the @BJP4India stands for. I thank the people of these states for their unwavering support and assure them that we will keep working tirelessly for their well-being. A special thanks to the hardworking Party Karyakartas. Each of them is exemplary! They have worked tirelessly and highlighted our development agenda among the people," the PM said in a post on X (formally Twitter).

In another post, the PM also thanked the people of Telangana for their increasing support to the party.

"My dear sisters and brothers of Telangana, Thank you for your support to the @BJP4India. Over the last few years, this support has only been increasing and this trend will continue in the times to come. Our bond with Telangana is unbreakable and we will keep working for the people. I also appreciate the industrious efforts of each and every BJP Karyakarta," read his post.

As per the Election Commission of India, at 4 pm, BJP is soaring ahead in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. The party is leading with 167 seats in MP and 114 seats in Rajasthan. In Chhattisgarh too, the BJP is leading with 56 seats while the Congress has 33. In Telangana, Congress seems to be surging ahead of BRS with 66 seats.

The four states — Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and Telangana — went to polls around mid-November.
