As an investor you do not need to pay any additional fees to purchase any of these options. However both have different expense ratios. Regular funds have higher expense ratio and direct funds have lower expense ratio. This difference is because of commission paid to broker/distributor. The primary investment objective of the scheme is to seek to generate consistent to generate consistent returns by investing in a portfolio of Large Cap, Mid Cap and Small Cap companies.
