When it comes to her physical and mental health, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has had a solid transformation. While she sticks to her workouts and clean diet, she also takes care of her skin with products that she has now come to swear by.
In a chat with Tweak India, Samantha revealed that she’d follow an elaborate skincare routine earlier, only to realise “less is more.” She said, “Find those few products that really work for you and stick to them. Somehow I feel trends fade away, and only a few products stand the test of time. So, you don't have to do like a 7-8 step routine. Just a few products will do.”
And when it comes to her non-negotiable products, she disclosed, “Because of my age, I definitely would put retinol in there. Younger skin doesn't need it. Sunscreen, for sure, and a really good serum.”

Samantha’s also big on supplements, though she said that it’s a personal choice and should be consumed according to an individual’s bodily requirements. She suggested, “If you want to start using supplements, you should always check if they are third-party tested and then go ahead and buy them.”
The actress also shared her morning routine, which she admitted was a tad ‘excessive’. It includes starting with a gratitude journal, getting the morning sunlight, and meditating, which she added sets the tone for the rest of the day. She also mentioned that it’s not necessary to make it an elaborate affair and can comprise simple activities, too.

As for her workouts, Samantha is currently fully focused on powerlifting, videos of which she often posts on Instagram to motivate and inspire people to take charge of their physical health.
