Janhvi Kapoor is making all the right moves at the Cannes Film Festival, with her stylist sister Rhea Kapoor by her side. Her glamorous appearances have impressed fashion critics, and her latest outing is no exception.
For the world premiere of her film Homebound, the actress wore a custom Anamika Khanna sage green gown. The heavily embroidered corset and floor-grazing silhouette seamlessly blended traditional craftsmanship with modern design.
What grabbed eyeballs was her traditional jewellery, which included a stylish ear cuff, jhumkas, bangles, gold kadas, and rings. Additionally, Janhvi’s backless gown featured a statement back chain that added a sultry touch.
Sharing the look, Rhea Kapoor wrote: “For the Official Premiere Screening of Homebound this morning in Cannes, @janhvikapoor wears custom @anamikakhanna.in couture. She wears a mix of archival traditional Indian jewels mixed with custom jade and jadau creations.”
Just as much as this look, Janhvi’s Tarun Tahiliani corset and skirt set also drew attention. The pink ensemble, adorned with pearls and paired with a veil tucked into her bun, reminded fans of her mother, Sridevi. Janhvi exuded elegance as she walked with poise on the red carpet.
Detailing the outfit, designer Tarun Tahiliani’s Instagram handle captioned:
“Janhvi Kapoor’s (@janhvikapoor) ensemble features a handwoven real tissue skirt and corset, specially crafted in Benares. The surface is brought to life with a hand-crushed technique that lends depth and texture, while a signature TT drape adds a touch of sculptural fluidity. The raw, uncut hem remains untouched—an intentional ode to the authenticity of the weave.”

Earlier, Janhvi attended Miu Miu’s dinner sporting their luxe pieces—a white knit top and skirt, layered with a shirt and jacket.
