The West Bengal School Service Commission (WBSSC) has issued the official notification for the recruitment of non-teaching staff in state-run and government-aided schools across West Bengal. A total of 8,477 vacancies have been announced under Group C and Group D categories.

As per the notification, the recruitment will fill 2,989 posts in Group C (Clerk) and 5,488 posts in Group D (Peon, Laboratory Attendant, and similar roles).

The recruitment will be conducted in phases:
Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary between Rs 26,605 and Rs 29,905, along with allowances as per government rules.
