
The West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has released the WBSEDCL Admit Card 2026. Candidates who have applied for the Junior Engineer and Assistant Manager positions can now download their computer-based test (CBT) hall tickets from the official portal, wbsedcl.in.
The admit card is a mandatory document for entry into the examination hall. Candidates must carry a printed copy along with valid photo identification to be permitted to sit for the test.
The computer-based examination is scheduled for January 27, 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 447 vacancies for the posts of Assistant Manager and Junior Engineer (Electrical) Grade-II.
The hall tickets were made available for download on January 20, 2026. The admit card contains essential candidate details such as the examination venue, roll number, reporting time, and important instructions for the exam day.
Exam Schedule and Shift Timings
The CBT will be conducted in three shifts on January 27, 2026:
Shift 1 (Assistant Manager - HR&A and F&A): 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Reporting time is 8:00 AM.
Shift 2 (Junior Engineer - Electrical): 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Reporting time is 11:30 AM.
Shift 3 (Junior Engineer - Electrical): 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM. Reporting time is 3:00 PM.
Candidates are advised to carefully check their admit cards for their specific shift and report to the center well before the stipulated time.

Aspiring candidates can follow these simple steps to download their WBSEDCL hall ticket:
Step 1. Go to the official website: wbsedcl.in.
Step 2. Locate and click on the 'Career' tab on the homepage.
Step 3. Find and select the relevant link for "WBSEDCL Admit Card 2026 for Assistant Manager and Junior Engineer (Electrical)".
Step 4. Enter the required User ID and Password in the login portal.
Step 5. Your admit card will be displayed. Download and save the PDF file, and take multiple printouts for examination use.

Exam Pattern and Selection Process
The selection process for WBSEDCL recruitment involves a written examination followed by an interview and document verification.
The 90-minute CBT will consist of 85 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark. The paper will include sections on Domain Knowledge (50 marks), English (5 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (10 marks), Computer Proficiency (10 marks), and a Vernacular Language test (10 marks) in either Bengali or Nepali. Candidates should note that a negative marking of 0.33 marks will be applied for each incorrect answer.
