UPPSC RO ARO Mains 2025

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has started the application process for the Review Officer (RO) and Assistant Review Officer (ARO) Mains Examination 2023. This step is for the 7,509 candidates who were declared successful in the preliminary examination held earlier this year.

Prospective candidates are advised to complete their registration and application form submission on the official UPPSC portal, uppsc.up.nic.in, before the deadline of October 31, 2025.

The journey to this stage has been highly competitive. Out of a massive pool of 10,76,004 applicants for the RO/ARO-2023 recruitment, approximately 4,55,042 candidates appeared for the preliminary exam on July 27. The results, announced on September 16, paved the way for 7,509 candidates to progress to the mains stage.

The breakdown of successful candidates is as follows:

• 6,093 candidates for 338 posts of Review Officer (RO).
• 1,386 candidates for 79 posts of Assistant Review Officer (ARO).
• 30 candidates for 2 posts of ARO.

Candidates must follow these steps carefully to complete their application:

Step 1. Go to the UPPSC portal at uppsc.up.nic.in.

Step 2. On the homepage, look for the link that reads "SAMIKSHA ADHIKARI/ SAHAVAK SAMIKSHA ADHIKARI ETC. (Mains) Exam-2023" and click on it.

Step 3. If not already registered, complete the one-time registration process using your details.

Step 4. Use your credentials to log in and carefully fill out the UPPSC RO ARO Mains application form.

Step 5. Verify all entered details, proceed to pay the application fee online, and finally submit the form.

Step 6. Download the submitted application form and take a printout for your records and further use.

An important part of the process is the submission of the physical application. After successfully submitting the online form and fee payment, candidates must send the printed hard copy of the application form along with all required documents. This must reach the Commission's office via registered post or in person by November 7, 2025, before 5:00 PM.

The UPPSC has provided a facility for candidates to correct any errors in their online application. Candidates can make corrections once within the stipulated time frame mentioned by the Commission. It is advised to double-check all information before the final submission to avoid any last-minute issues.
