Union Bank of India, one of the major public sector banks, has invited applications for the post of Assistant Manager under its Specialist Officer (SO) Recruitment 2025. The Bank has announced a total of 500 vacancies, and the last date to apply is 20 May 2025.

The recruitment is for Junior Management Grade Scale I (JMGS I) level for the roles of Assistant Manager in Credit and IT departments. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official website of Union Bank of India www.unionbankofindia.co.in.   6. Fill in your personal and academic details.
  7. Upload the required documents in the specified format.
  8. Pay the application fee based on your category.
  9. Download and save the confirmation receipt for future reference.

The fee is payable only after submitting the application form.

Selection Process

The selection for Union Bank SO 2025 will be done in three stages. First, candidates will appear for an online exam worth 225 marks. Those who qualify will be called for a Group Discussion, carrying 50 marks, where the minimum qualifying marks are 24 (22.5 for SC/ST/OBC). The final stage is a Personal Interview, also for 50 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview in a 1:3 ratio based on their performance in the earlier stages.
