The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has issued a new recruitment notification for the post of Agriculture Officer, TAFS, Grade-I. The notice was released on July 3, 2025 by the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Tripura.

This recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 136 vacancies. Interested candidates can apply online through the official website, www.tpsc.tripura.gov.in, starting from 24 July 2025. The last date to apply is 20 August 2025.

The notification includes all important details such as eligibility criteria, exam pattern, selection process, and how to apply. Candidates are advised to download and read it carefully.

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Horticulture from a recognised university.
• Upper Age Limit: 40 years

The selection process will be conducted in two stages:

• Written Examination
• Interview

Candidates who clear both stages will be appointed as regular Group B gazetted officers. The pay scale for the post is Rs. 10,230 to Rs. 34,800.

Out of the 136 total posts:

• 70 are for unreserved category (3 reserved for ex-servicemen)
• 41 are for Scheduled Tribes (1 for ex-servicemen)
• 25 are for Scheduled Castes (1 for ex-servicemen)

Additionally, 33% of the total vacancies are reserved for women candidates across all categories.

Candidates must submit their applications online only through the official website of TPSC. All updates related to the admit card, exam date, and interview schedule will be published on the same portal. The last date to apply is 20th August 2025, and no applications will be accepted after this deadline.
