The State Bank of India (SBI) will close the application process for the Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2025 today, 29 June 2025. Candidates who have not yet completed the registration are advised to visit the official website sbi.co.in and fill out the form before the deadline. The application window was opened on 9 May 2025 and this is the final opportunity to apply.

SBI has announced a total of 2964 vacancies for the post of Circle Based Officer across various circles in the country. Applicants will be allowed to download and print their submitted application forms until 13 July 2025 for future reference.

To be eligible, candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 30 April 2025, and must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university. Additionally, applicants must be proficient in the local language of the circle they are applying for. This remains a mandatory requirement.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of an online examination, followed by a screening round and an interview. The online test will be held in two parts an objective test carrying 120 marks and a descriptive test worth 50 marks. Both parts will be conducted on the same day. Shortlisted candidates will be called for the next stages based on their performance in the online exam.

Application Fee

The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS category candidates is Rs 750, which is non-refundable. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fee under SBI’s inclusive recruitment policy. The fee, where applicable, must be paid online during the submission of the application form.
