IBPS PO, SO Recruitment 2025: Registration Deadline extended for 6,215 posts; apply by July 28

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the last date to apply for the 2025 recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) and Specialist Officers (SO). Candidates can now register online till 28 July 2025 through the official website ibps.in.

Total Vacancies

The recruitment drive is being held to fill 6,215 vacancies, out of which 5,208 posts are for Probationary Officers and 1,007 posts are for Specialist Officers.

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the PO posts, candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. For the SO posts, the required educational qualifications differ depending on the specific role.

The age limit for both PO and SO roles is between 20 and 30 years, calculated as on 1 July 2025.

Application Fee

The application fee for IBPS PO and SO recruitment is as follows:

• SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Rs 175
• All other categories: Rs 850

The fee must be paid online while submitting the application form.
