  • Reasoning Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes
  • Numerical Ability: 35 questions, 35 marks, 20 minutes

Total: 100 questions, 100 marks, 60 minutes

Bank Mains Exam Pattern 2026

For Clerk Post

  • English Language: 40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes
  • Quantitative Aptitude: 50 questions, 50 marks, 45 minutes
  • Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude: 50 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
  • General / Financial Awareness: 50 questions, 50 marks, 35 minutes

Total: 190 questions, 200 marks, 160 minutes

For Probationary Officer (PO) Post

The PO Mains exam has both objective and descriptive papers.

  • Reasoning and Computer Aptitude: 45 questions, 60 marks, 60 minutes
  • English Language: 35 questions, 40 marks, 40 minutes
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: 35 questions, 60 marks, 45 minutes
  • General Economy and Banking Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks, 35 minutes

Objective Total: 155 questions, 200 marks, 180 minutes

Descriptive Paper

Candidates who clear Prelims and Mains are called for the Interview. Final selection is based on performance in all stages.
