Sara Tendulkar is back on Instagram with yet another healthy drink recipe. While her matcha protein smoothie was a big hit with the audience, this time she introduced a tropical drink as nutritious as the previous one. She wrote, “It’s basically a Pina Colada that went to the gym.”

In the video, Sara detailed how this much-loved holiday drink can be turned into a healthy one with “extra fibre and hydration.” She also joked that it may even give you six-pack abs.

Sara listed the ingredients in her caption while showing how to make the smoothie in the video.

Ingredients
Frozen mango and pineapple1 cup
Ground flax seeds1 tsp
Shredded dry coconut1 tsp
Soaked chia seeds1 tsp
Vanilla whey protein1 scoop
Coconut water½ cup
Dash of coconut milk
How to Prepare:

Put frozen, sliced mangoes and pineapples in the blender. Add a little bit of ground flax seeds, a little bit of shredded dry coconut, a little bit of chia seeds, one or half a scoop of vanilla protein powder, a bit of coconut water, and coconut milk for creaminess. Then simply blend.

Sara added, “This smoothie is a great way to sneak in 25 grams of protein, gut-friendly fibre, and natural electrolytes. It fuels recovery, supports digestion, and keeps you hydrated — all while tasting like dessert.”

Benefits of the Ingredients:

Mangoes and Pineapples: Rich in vitamins C & A, loaded with antioxidants, and a source of dietary fibre.

Ground Flax Seeds: High in omega-3 fatty acids and a great source of dietary fibre.

Chia Seeds: Contain fibre and omega-3 fatty acids, and help promote satiety.

Shredded Dry Coconut: Rich in dietary fibre, promotes satiety, and contains potassium and iron.

Coconut Water: Rich in electrolytes and keeps you hydrated.

Protein Powder: Adds an extra dose of protein to meet dietary requirements.

Earlier, Sara’s matcha protein smoothie was just as much of a hit. It contained about 35 grams of protein, was packed with antioxidants, and she claimed it gave a steady energy boost without the crash of coffee.
