When it comes to fitness, Jacqueline Fernandez has always stayed on track. The actress, who has worked in several popular films including Housefull and Kick, recently opened up on Curly Tales about her workout routine and diet, which contribute to her looking this good at 40.
Jacqueline Fernandez follows intermittent fasting
Talking about her diet, Jacqueline revealed the fastest way she achieves weight loss. “I rely a lot on intermittent fasting when I really need to shed. So I will have my dinner as early as 4 or 5 p.m. Then I won’t have anything the whole night. I’ll sleep, wake up the next day, and have my first meal around 10 or 11 a.m. That used to get me in shape really fast. I would see results in 1 week.”
Workout routine
The actress also shared that movement is a big part of her day. She loves to target three days of weight training, covering the upper body, back, and lower body, and fits in yoga four times a week. She also does Pilates because she doesn’t want to leave it out completely. The actress, who turned 40 this year, called weights “anti-aging” and stressed that they are even more important as you get older.

Jacqueline, who made a splash with her appearance at Cannes, admitted that her earlier focus was on staying physically fit, but now it includes her mental well-being as well. That is why she starts her mornings with yoga, which helps lower cortisol levels and calms the mind.
Morning rituals
Before she sits down for yoga, the actress spends time performing her morning rituals, which include focusing on oral hygiene with brushing and oil pulling.
To stay hydrated, she drinks a concoction of water with lemon, mint, and salt, which she shared works as an electrolyte in the morning.
Favourite breakfast foods
Jacqueline shared a few healthy recipes she swears by for breakfast. One of them is protein pancakes, which consist of chocolate protein powder, banana, almond milk, and oats. She said she uses a little oil to cook them and tops them with banana, maple syrup, and cinnamon. She also likes chia seed pudding, which is basically chia soaked in almond milk and topped with nuts, seeds, pomegranate, and banana, making it power-packed.
