Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently talked about her close friendship with actor-director Rahul Ravindran, which has lasted for more than a decade. She talked about how he has always been there for her, especially during the difficult period after she received a diagnosis of the autoimmune disease myositis.

During a recent interview, Samantha said that their bond is so different from traditional friendship. "Is he like a brother? A dear friend? Or family? I honestly don’t know how to describe it," she said.

Following an emotional encounter, Samantha Ruth Prabhu received a plaque engraved with the poignant poem "Woman of Steel" from her close friend Rahul. Samantha found great meaning in the poem, "What doesn’t defeat you, makes you stronger than ever… and stronger forever," which embodies her fortitude and tenacity in the face of adversity.

Over the years, their friendship has gotten stronger. It started in 2010 when the Tamil romantic film Moscowin Kavery was being filmed.

Rahul has not only been a supportive friend but has also stood up for Samantha in difficult moments. One example was when a doctor criticized her for advocating a particular treatment. Rahul defended her, emphasizing that although Samantha isn't medically trained, she diligently researches and understands any therapy before supporting it.

Indian actor, director, and screenwriter Rahul Ravindran was born on June 23, 1981, and he mostly works in the Telugu and Tamil film industries. In 2010, he made his cinematic debut in the Tamil film Moscowin Kavery, and he most recently made his Bollywood debut in Jigra. Rahul and playback singer Chinmayi Sripada are married, and they have two kids together: Sharvas and Driptah.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Samantha has entered into production with her upcoming film Subham. Rahul is working on his upcoming film The Girlfriend, featuring Rashmika Mandanna.
