Bollywood actors Vicky Kaushal and Kareena Kapoor Khan recently had a candid interview with one another for The Hollywood Reporter India, discussing movies, relationships, and living in the spotlight.

Kareena's question during the chat struck a chord with many celebrity couples: how can one stay close to their partner when both are engrossed in rigorous work schedules?

Referring to his own experience, Vicky Kaushal was all smiles as he responded, “Being an actor, both ways, you’re not doing a 9-to-5 job where there’s a proper structure, right? So everything comes down to about how we can figure out the time that we’ll get for each other. And that sometimes in phases becomes difficult, in phases it’s easy."

Vicky, who is currently filming Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming epic Love & War alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, elaborated on the current challenges.

“Right now I’m in that phase where I’m shooting nights, so you are getting very limited time. Because you just get up and go. Now she has jokingly started pinching it in. She says, ‘I’m just going to call you Mr. Go. Because every time I see you, you’re like, I need to go.’ So that, but then there are phases also where you have to consciously plan out. Like, this is our time. But then, you kind of figure it out.”

On December 9, 2021, at Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan, Vicky and Katrina Kaif exchanged vows in a lavish but highly guarded ceremony.

Close friends and family attended the wedding, which was a private event away from the media spotlight. Despite maintaining a low profile before getting married, the couple's union swiftly rose to prominence as one of Bollywood's most well-known love tales.

On the work front, Vicky was last seen portraying Chhatrapati Sambhaji in Chhaava, while Katrina’s most recent appearance was in the 2024 thriller Merry Christmas.

Despite their hectic schedules, the couple often shares heartwarming glimpses of their life together, striking a balance between love and work.
