Varun Dhawan and Maniesh Paul celebrate holi on the sets

Varun Dhawan marked this year’s Holi in a unique way by sharing an exciting behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the sets of his highly anticipated film Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

The lively video, posted on his social media platform, featured Varun dancing with infectious joy, fully immersed in bright Holi colours, radiating festive spirit and energy. His playful and carefree movements brought the celebration of colours to life, offering fans an inside look at the fun atmosphere on set.

Along with the dance, Varun’s post gave fans a sneak peek into the vibrant mood of Manish Paul blaming him for being dipped in colors  adding to the growing anticipation for the film.

The Holi-themed video not only celebrated the festival but also teased the upcoming Holi song from the movie, further building excitement for its release. Varun’s cheerful display of colours and joy left fans eagerly awaiting more behind-the-scenes glimpses from the set of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.

Varun, along with co-star Manish Paul, also took to their Instagram handles to share the playful moment, teasing each other in the process. Varun wrote, “Happy Holi. Wishing you straight from the sets of #sunnysanskarikitulsikumari. BTS can’t wait for you to hear our new Holi song. Sooon……”

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari is a Dharma Productions project, also featuring Sanya Malhotra, Manish Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.

Initially slated for release on April 18, 2025, the film’s release date has been pushed to later in the year. The makers are working to incorporate more fun elements into the film, which include a new schedule centred around a destination wedding.

The entire cast, including Varun and Janhvi Kapoor, will participate in this new shoot, ensuring that the final product resonates even more with the audience. Karan Johar, known for his mastery in the rom-com genre, is leaving no stone unturned, aiming to deliver two large-scale romantic comedies in 2025, including Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Teri Tu Mera.
