Charrul Malik is a former news anchor and is known for her roles in TV shows like 'Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain' and 'Happu Ki Ultan Paltan'.

Former news anchor-turned-actor Charrul Malik believes that as a public figure, it’s her moral responsibility to be mindful of their actions and set an example for others. However, she doesn’t like the paparazzi invading their personal spaces.

She said, “When you are a public figure, you stand out from the crowd, and people look up to you. As a result, you have certain responsibilities and expectations to uphold, which means you need to be mindful of maintaining your public image. However, I don't think there's a need to actively work on maintaining it because it naturally stays intact if you're consistent in your actions. I believe that's the best part of being a public figure.” “But, one thing I wish I could change about the life of a public figure is how everything they do becomes public or is orchestrated to be public. There's always so much paparazzi intrusion that whatever they do, it ends up in the spotlight. I wish their personal lives could remain personal while they still maintain their public figure status. I wish I could change it so they could lead a personal life without the constant need for showmanship. They wouldn't have to carry branded items just to show the world how successful they are. I wish people could naturally be themselves without being harshly judged. I wish I could change that,” she added.

Maintaining a balance between her personal and professional lives comes naturally to her, and she doesn’t put a lot of effort into it. She said, “I keep it simple—very personal when it needs to be, and very professional when required. I believe there's no need to overthink it because I've been doing it for a long time.” “I think we should just go with the flow and handle things accordingly. I don't feel like I strive for a perfect balance; it just comes naturally to me. I'm not saying I'm perfectly balanced, but I consider myself very normal and natural in handling these aspects of life,” she added. Even when it comes to sharing the details of her life, Charrul knows where to draw the line. “I don't really have to think about what to share and what to keep private. I don't believe in planning, showing off, boasting, or hiding anything. I keep things simple and just go with the flow, doing whatever needs to be done at any given time. I try my best to fulfill my duties towards my family and my profession, and I don't think it's rocket science. It just feels very natural to me. If you're smooth as a person, this balance automatically comes without much thought,” she said.

“I've always been this way. Even when I was in the media field, I was as balanced, cool, and peaceful as I am now. Whether people knew me back then or know me as an actor now, my life has never been hyped up, and I've never felt the need to strike a balance or keep things private. I've never overthought it; I just do what I need to do, and thankfully, things fall into place naturally, and everyone sees me as well-balanced,” she ended.
