Mahhi Vij and Parth Samthaan will star in new TV show

Lagi Tujhse Lagan actress Mahhi Vij is all set to make her grand comeback to television after 9 years. Mahhi will share the screen with Parth Samthaan in the upcoming TV show, Seher Hone Ka Hai.

This marks the first time Mahhi will star alongside Parth.

According to ETimes reports, Mahhi and Parth will play the lead roles in the upcoming TV show, Seher Hone Ka Hai. The upcoming show is speculated to be set in a Muslim backdrop

Mahhi will play the lead in a mother-daughter story that will be featured on the show. Additionally, the first few episodes of the show will be filmed in Lucknow.

An official confirmation and additional information about the show are still awaited.

Meanwhile, Parth Samthaan's casting opposite the actress, who last starred in Balika Vadhu in 2016, has added to the excitement surrounding her surprise comeback.

For the unversed, Mahhi Vij is known for her stellar performance in TV shows like Laagi Tujhse Lagan, Balika Vadhu, and Shubh Kadam. She has also worked in some of the Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam language movies.

After almost a decade-long hiatus, Mahhi Vij will soon make her comeback to television. She took a break from acting to focus on her family and motherhood. She has rejected several roles in the past.

Mahhi tied the knot to television and film actor Jay Bhanushali in 2011. The couple fostered a boy named Rajveer and a girl named Khushi in 2017. Mahhi and Jay welcomed their first biological child, a daughter named Tara, in 2019.

On the other hand, Parth Samthaan rose to fame after he starred in Gumrah: End of Innocence, Best Friends Forever? and Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan. Parth has become an overnight sensation after he played the lead in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
