Naturally, their bond was forged over multiple successful collaborations like Coolie No 1, Hero No 1, and Biwi No 1. She recounted a humorous incident from the set of Hero No 1, where David's son, Varun Dhawan, unexpectedly interrupted a shot. “One day on set, while David was directing a scene, little Varun suddenly ran in and shouted, ‘Can I have another ice cream?’” Karisma shared, painting a picture of the playful and family-like atmosphere on set.

Earlier, David Dhawan too had spoken fondly of Karism Kapoor at an event. He said, "Karisma is the only actress that I have worked with for 12 films in my career and all turned out to be blockbusters. Its been the longest association I have had with any actor."

On the work front, both Kareena and Karisma are on the top of their game. Karisma Kapoor recently starred in the Netflix show Murder Mubarak and has been a judge on the reality show India’s Best Dancer. Kareena Kapoor, on the other hand, received critical acclaim for her role in The Buckingham Murders and is eagerly awaiting the release of Rohit Shetty’s Singham Returns, which features a star-studded cast including Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor.
