John Abraham starrer The Diplomat saw a slow growth at domestic box office

John Abraham's starrer political thriller The Diplomat is receiving love from the audience but has yet to cross a significant mark at the box office. Despite garnering praise for its gripping storyline and Abraham's powerful performance, the film's commercial success has been modest so far.

According to the latest reports by Sacnilk, The Diplomat has grossed Rs 1.50 crore on its fourth day at the domestic box office. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 14.80 crore net in India.

The film’s earnings have been steady since it hit the theatres on March 14. The Diplomat made around Rs 4.74 crore on its third day taking the total collection to Rs 13.45 crore in India. On its first Sunday, about 19.61% of Hindi film showings were occupied.

However, the film earned Rs 4.68 crore on day 2 and Rs 4.74 crore at the domestic box office. Meanwhile, The Diplomat is facing tough competition with Vicky Kaushal starring historical action film, Chhaava. The film was released on February 14 but has maintained strong growth, drawing a consistent audience and sustaining impressive ticket sales weeks after its debut.
