Seungmin celebrates his 25th birthday

K-pop band Stray Kids member Seungmin is celebrating his 25th birthday on September 22. The singer has marked his birthday with a special donation to ChildFund Korea.

He has donated 100 million won to support kids shouldering adult responsibilities at home. The donation will support the foundation's Family Caregiver Support program, which assists children who have taken on the role of de facto family caregivers.

According to SBS Star, Seungmin reflected on the donation and said, “I hope children who have had to act like adults for their families can set that weight down, even for a moment. If this small contribution can lighten their load and help them dream about the future, that's all I could ask for.”

However, this is not the first time that Seungmin has contributed to society. Last year, he donated an additional 100 million won to help young people leaving foster care on his birthday.

Additionally, he and his bandmates also gave a total of 800 million won to World Vision and the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association in April in order to provide emergency relief following wildfires in the Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang regions.

On the work front, Seungmin is currently in London to attend the Burberry Summer 2026 show. The singer has also received a cake from Burberry. He has shared a series of pictures on his Instagram as he prepares for the Burberry show.

Meanwhile, the singer is slated to perform at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium for two nights, October 18 and 19, as part of the Stray Kids World Tour. The band features Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N.

The upcoming performance will mark the group’s first stadium shows in Korea, seven years after their debut. The gig will be the band’s last stop on their dominATE world tour, which has seen them perform 54 times in 34 different markets.
