Ganesh Chaturthi turned into a glittering yet soulful affair in Bollywood, as stars opened their homes and hearts for Lord Ganesha. From eco-friendly idols to floral pandals, the celebrations brought together devotion, tradition, and of course, a touch of glamour.
Hansika Motwani lit up social media with a series of pictures from her home. Dressed in a stunning green saree, she posed against a backdrop of flowers and a uniquely designed pandal made of banana leaves. The set-up was simple but beautiful, and fans couldn’t stop gushing about her elegance. “Festive goals,” wrote one user, summing up the mood.
Sonu Sood, meanwhile, stuck to his long-standing tradition of celebrating Bappa in an eco-conscious way. For the actor-philanthropist, Ganesh Chaturthi is about devotion and inclusivity. Like every year, he welcomed Lord Ganesha with his family and close friends, performed daily pujas, and even invited media and paparazzi to seek blessings before sharing prasad with them.
True to his commitment, he chose an eco-friendly idol and will once again carry out visarjan at home in a specially created pond. “Faith and responsibility can go hand in hand,” he has often said, and his rituals echoed that thought.
Jackie Shroff kept things short but sweet. Sharing pictures of a cute red Ganesh idol, he simply captioned them, “Bappa Morya.” His daughter, Ayesha Shroff, was seen performing the aarti, keeping the family’s celebrations rooted in tradition.
Neil Nitin Mukesh also celebrated the festival with wife Rukmini Sahay and daughter Nurvi. The family posed with their idol in festive colors, making it one of the most wholesome posts of the day.
From grand floral decorations to eco-friendly idols, Bollywood’s Ganesh Chaturthi this year was a blend of devotion, family warmth, and sustainable choices.
