Sonu Sood, meanwhile, stuck to his long-standing tradition of celebrating Bappa in an eco-conscious way. For the actor-philanthropist, Ganesh Chaturthi is about devotion and inclusivity. Like every year, he welcomed Lord Ganesha with his family and close friends, performed daily pujas, and even invited media and paparazzi to seek blessings before sharing prasad with them.
True to his commitment, he chose an eco-friendly idol and will once again carry out visarjan at home in a specially created pond. “Faith and responsibility can go hand in hand,” he has often said, and his rituals echoed that thought.
