As Sonakshi Sinha celebrates her 38th birthday today, June 2, the actress has a special request for her fans, friends and family.
While she’s deeply grateful for the love and wishes that pour in every year, this time the actress made a humble appeal: skip the midnight calls and messages.
With early work duties lined up, Sonakshi chose to get a good night’s rest ahead of her big day. She asked well-wishers to hold off on late-night celebrations, prioritizing her packed schedule over the usual midnight birthday traditions.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on her birthday eve on Sunday, Sonakshi shared a selfie of herself, along with a cheeky note that read, “My lovely family and friends… I know it’s my birthday but please don’t call me at 12 am. I’m all tucked into bed, ready to wake up at 5 am for a 6 am call time. So if you love me… let me sleep."

Later in the morning, she shared another candid photo of herself looking chic in a white shit and sunglasses with hair tied up in a bun, along with the caption, “Wow!! My story worked. Everyone messaged and S Mehraa called straight at 5 am. Thank you guys for all the wonderful wishes that are pouring in and that will pour in…will be reading at shoot."

On the work front, Sonakshi will be next seen in the film Nikita Roy, directed by her brother Kussh S Sinha. The psychological thriller explores themes of mysticism, psychological tension, and human vulnerability. It is produced by Nicky Bhagnani, Vicky Bhagnani, and Ankur Takrani under the banners of Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films, Kratos Entertainment, and Nikita Pai Films.
Set to release on June 27, Nikita Roy also stars Paresh Rawal, Arjun Rampal, Sudheer Babu, Suhail Nayyar and Shilpa Shirodkar in key roles.
