Sivakarthikeyan dedicates success to wife Aarthy, says she married him when he had nothing

Sivakarthikeyan credits his success to his wife

Tamil movie star, Sivakarthikeyan, is getting ready for the release of his next movie, Madharaasi, which was directed by AR Murugadoss. Recently, he talked about his personal life and the individuals who have helped him the most along the way.

The actor praised his wife Aarthy at a promotional event in Hyderabad, saying that she made sacrifices for him when he was still trying to figure things out. He said, “She married me when I had nothing.”

Sivakarthikeyan thought back to his early years and remembered how his wife remained by him when he didn't have a steady job or any notoriety.

He told Hindustan Times, "People will always find talent in movies because It's a business." But my wife, Aarthy, married me before I started acting. I didn't even have a steady job back then, yet she trusted that I could take care of her. I should always be thankful to her for it.

The actor from Amaran also thanked his college buddies, who were the first to push him to try imitation and theatrical performances. They helped him find his gift and build his confidence.

A Journey of Hard Work and Success

Sivakarthikeyan and Aarthy got married in 2010, and today they are proud parents of three kids. Before he became one of Tamil cinema's biggest stars, Sivakarthikeyan worked very hard as a mimicry artist and stand-up comedian. He got his big break in 2006 when he won the second season of the reality show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru.

He was meant to make his first appearance in Ajith Kumar's Aegan in 2008, however his part was eliminated from the final movie. But in 2012, he officially made his first movie, Marina, and he hasn't looked back since.

Sivakarthikeyan's highly anticipated movie Madharaasi is set to come out on September 5. Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, and others have important parts in the action-drama. People have very high hopes for the movie because Murugadoss is in charge.
