Shah Rukh Khan to move out of Mannat

Shah Rukh Khan and his family are temporarily moving out of their iconic home, Mannat, in Bandra. They have lived there for over 20 years, but major renovation work will begin in May. Since Mannat is a heritage building, Shah Rukh Khan needed legal approvals for the changes. The renovation will take around three years.

During this time, Shah Rukh, his wife Gauri, and their children—Aryan, Suhana, and AbRam—will stay in a luxury apartment complex in Bandra called Puja Casa reportedly by HT.

This building is co-owned by filmmaker Vashu Bhagnani and his family. The Bhagnani family members, including producer Jackky Bhagnani and his wife, actress Rakul Preet Singh, also live there. This means Shah Rukh Khan will have celebrity neighbors for the first time in decades.

Shah Rukh has rented two duplex apartments in the building, covering four floors—first, second, seventh, and eighth. The apartments have been leased for three years, ensuring privacy and security for the family during the renovation of Mannat.

For the next 2-3 years, the Bhagnani family will be Shah Rukh’s neighbors. The building is known for its luxurious facilities, and its residents often share glimpses of their lives on social media. While Shah Rukh Khan is used to living in a bungalow with a lot of space and privacy, this will be a different experience for him and his family.

Once the renovations at Mannat are complete, the Khan family will return to their famous home. The renovation is expected to make Mannat even more grand, but details of the changes have not been revealed yet.

Shah Rukh Khan’s team is also making sure that their temporary home is secure and private. Given Shah Rukh’s global stardom, ensuring the safety of his family is a top priority.

This temporary shift has surprised many fans, as Mannat is considered an important landmark in Mumbai. It attracts visitors every day, hoping to catch a glimpse of the superstar. However, Shah Rukh’s move is not permanent—it is just a temporary arrangement while his beloved home gets a makeover.
