Mawra Hocane to make her Bollywood comeback

Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane captivated the Indian audience with her stirring performance in the Bollywood film Sanam Teri Kasam. The film has recently created a lot of buzz following its re-release and created new box office records.

However, Mawra is all set to return to Bollywood with a music video. She will make her musical debut with singer-composer Akhil Sachdeva, who is known for Kabir Singh’s song, Tera Ban Jaunga.

Mawra and Sachdeva will team up for a special music video titled, Tu Chaand Hai. Mawra Hocan took to her Instagram and shared the exciting news with her fans. She shared a poster of the upcoming music video and wrote, “Tu Chaand Hai – a special one from us to you so excited to share this beautiful melody with you all, sung by the most talented Akhil Sachdeva.”

The actress added, “I can’t wait for you to hear it." She also revealed the release date of her music video and wrote, “Releasing 4th April, exclusively on @novicerecordsofficial Stay tuned.”

Akhil Sachdeva gave his vocals to the song Tu Chaand Hai, composed by Anmol Daniel and written by Noor.

Mawra Hocane’s Bollywood comeback news came soon after the reports of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan's return circulated online. Fawad will make his comeback with Aarti S. Bagdi’s directorial film, Abir Gulaal. He will star alongside Vaani Kapoor in the upcoming film.

Meanwhile, Mawra Hocane's debut Bollywood film, Sanam Teri Teri Kasam, was re-released in theaters on February 7, 2025, and received an overwhelming response from the audience, outperforming its original 2016 release. She starred alongside Harshvardan Rane in the romantic drama.
