Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to make her debut as a producer with her upcoming film Subham, which is gearing up for release. While the release date remains unconfirmed, the actress recently treated her fans to a sneak peek of the film by unveiling the teaser on social media, coinciding with the Gudhi Padwa celebrations.
The teaser introduces the film's unique storyline, offering a glimpse into the quirky world of a newly married couple.
Samantha's production house, Tralala Moving Pictures, is behind this venture, and the teaser showcases the newlyweds' interactions on their first night of marriage.
Srivalli, the bride, begins as a quiet and introverted character, interacting hesitantly with her husband. However, when she becomes engrossed in a television show, a dramatic shift in her persona occurs, revealing a different side to her character.
The teaser promises that Subham will be a mix of quirky comedy, thrills, scares, and moments of laughter, providing a fresh perspective on everyday relationships and struggles. Fans have expressed excitement and admiration for Samantha as she steps into the role of producer.
Accompanying the teaser, Samantha shared her emotions on social media, writing, “Presenting to you our little labour of love. A small team with big dreams! We’re incredibly grateful for this journey and what we’ve created together. We truly hope you enjoy our film… and may this be the start of something truly special! #Subham Bhavathu!”
Directed by Praveen Kandregula and penned by Vasanth Mariganti, Subham marks the debut of a new ensemble cast, including Harshith Malgireddy, Shriya Kontham, Charan Peri, Shalini Kondepudi, Gavireddy Srinivas, and Shravani.
