Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda's debut film Saiyaara is setting the box office on fire, enjoying a phenomenal response since its release on July 18.
The romantic drama has already crossed major milestones, grossing over Rs 200 crore worldwide within just six days of its release.
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the film continued its strong momentum on Day 7, raking in Rs 18.75 crore in India. This brings its net domestic collection to Rs 172.50 crore by Thursday.
The highest occupancy rates were recorded in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Lucknow, indicating the film's widespread appeal. Saiyaara recorded a 31.43% overall Hindi occupancy rate across all theatres nationwide on July 24.
With an occupancy rate of 19.74% in the morning shows, 33.08% in the afternoon, 32.81% in the evening, and 40.08% in the night shows, the movie saw a consistent increase in foot traffic throughout the day. The steady attendance throughout the day highlights the movie's powerful grip on audiences.
Saiyaara, a heartfelt romance-drama directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, revolves around the characters of Vaani Batra (played by Aneet Padda), a reserved writer, and Krish Kapoor (played by Ahaan Panday), an aspiring musician. Audiences of all ages can relate to the story's deep exploration of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
