Sai Dharam Tej makes Pan-India debut in high-budget period drama SDT18 alongside Aishwarya Lekshmi

South Indian actor Sai Dharam Tej is about to make his debut in a nationwide Indian action drama film titled "SDT18." This high-octane movie marks the first time Rohith KP will be directing a film, and K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy are producing it under the Primeshow Entertainment banner. Aishwarya Lekshmi will be the leading lady opposite Tej.

Tej unveiled a cryptic poster for the upcoming film on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect. The poster depicts a single green tree standing amidst a desert filled with landmines, with the text: "The land that is longing for his arrival. He'll ascend from the depths."

SDT18 is a period drama set between 1947 and 1967, unfolding against the backdrop of the rugged Rayalaseema region in India. Promising an action-packed storyline steeped in history, the film marks Sai Dharam Tej's next project following his box-office successes in 2023, including Virupaksha and Bro.

"SDT18" will be a pan-Indian project with a projected budget of ₹100 crore. Scheduled for release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, the film marks a significant step for Sai Dharam Tej, solidifying his position as a pan-Indian star.

A prominent figure in South Indian cinema, Aishwarya Lekshmi has garnered acclaim for her roles in critically acclaimed films like Ponniyin Selvan: I, Jagame Thandhiram, and Ammu. Her diverse filmography also includes projects like King of Kotha and Kumari.
