Filmmaker and actor Rishab Shetty is gearing up for his highly anticipated Kantara: Chapter 1. He has recently released the trailer for the Kantara sequel, sending the fans into a frenzy.

Kantara: Chapter 1 has recently created a milestone and garnered a whopping 107M+ views and 3.4M+ likes in just 24 hours. To celebrate success, Rishab Shetty and his costume designer wife, Pragathi Shetty, took a spiritual trip to Kollur Mookambika Temple.

The couple offered prayers at the temple and sought blessings for the film’s success. Several pictures of their visit are now going viral on social media. In the pics, the couple sported traditional outfits and also performed aarti.

Hombale Films’ Kantara: Chapter 1 also stars Rukmini Vasanth in the lead with Sapthami Gowda, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram, Kishore and others in the key roles.

The upcoming period mythological action thriller is penned and directed by Rishab Shetty. The film is produced by Vijay Kiragandur under Hombale Films. B. Ajaneesh Loknath serves as music director with cinematography by Arvind Kashyap and production design by Vinesh Banglan.

The movie will be available in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English. The film promises a profoundly immersive experience that honours faith, folklore, and cinematic brilliance.

The upcoming film will explore the origins of Kaadubettu Shiva during the Kadamba dynasty era. The prequel to the 2022 film Kantara delves into the untamed wilderness and forgotten lore surrounding his past.

The upcoming film promises to delve deeper into the origins of the mythological tradition and ancestral conflict introduced in the first film.

Kantara: Chapter 1 is slated for a global release on October 2.
