Pooja Hegde and Allu Arjun’s hit film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo celebrates its sixth anniversary today. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, this film represented a monumental collaboration between the pan-Indian star and the Pushpa actor, creating an on-screen pair that is still cherished today. On the occasion of the film’s 6th anniversary, Pooja Hegde took a moment to commemorate this milestone, reflecting on the iconic hit number, Butta Bomma.

The actress shared a snapshot of herself with Allu Arjun from the viral chartbuster on her Instagram stories, reminiscing about the Butta Bomma phenomenon! She labeled the day as ‘AVPL Day’ and extended her wishes to her fans with a ‘Happy AVPL Day everyone’.

Pooja Hegde and Allu Arjun’s dynamic collaboration provided audiences with an unforgettable pair, and their sizzling chemistry significantly contributed to the film’s box office success. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo amassed an estimated collection of Rs.262 - Rs.280 crore globally, becoming the fourth-highest-grossing Telugu film of all time at its release. It also achieved the distinction of being the highest-grossing Telugu film of 2020 and the second-highest-grossing Indian film of that year. With Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, Pooja Hegde added a blockbuster success to her career and marked a major partnership with acclaimed director Trivikram Srinivas and the celebrated actor Allu Arjun.

Currently, she is preparing for an exciting project titled Jana Nayagan, a political action-thriller featuring Vijay Thalapathy. Additionally, she will appear in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai alongside Varun Dhawan, directed by David Dhawan, which is set for a theatrical release on June 5th.
