Fans filled the post with heart and fire emojis to celebrate the news and count down to the big reveal. The news comes just a few days after Dulquer's Tamil movie Kaantha, which came out on November 14 and did well at the box office. Selvamani Selvaraj directed the period thriller, which stars Dulquer, Samuthirakani, and Bhagyashri Borse.

The movie got good reviews and did well at the box office. Dulquer posted on Instagram about his time with the team on the film's promotional tour, including never-before-seen scenes. The pictures were taken on the airport tarmac and inside a shuttle bus. They showed Dulquer, Samuthirakani, and Rana Daggubati. One picture of the actor alone showed him looking out of an airplane window, which added a thoughtful touch to the post.

Kaantha takes place in Madras in the 1950s and looks at the troubled relationship between budding film star T.K. Mahadevan (Dulquer Salmaan) and his instructor Ayya (Samuthirakani). As ambition and ego clash, their mentor-protégé relationship turns into a fight. Bhagyashri Borse portrays Kumari, Mahadevan's love interest, while Rana Daggubati plays Inspector Devaraj, also known as "Phoenix."

Kaantha was supposed to come out in September, but it was pushed back so it wouldn't compete with the blockbuster run of Lokah: Chapter 1 -- Chandra, which is now the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time. Fans can't wait to see Dulquer's next Malayalam movie, which has already been named as I'm Game. They are already excited and looking forward to it.
