S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali franchise has been a milestone in Indian cinema, changing the way films are made and viewed across the world.
Both parts — Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion — set new standards for storytelling, scale, and visual excellence, establishing India’s global presence in filmmaking.
Now, to honour this cinematic legacy, the makers are bringing both chapters together as Baahubali: The Epic — a remastered and re-edited version of the legendary saga, hitting theatres later this month.
According to reports, the film’s total runtime will be about 3 hours and 40 minutes, combining the storylines of both movies into a seamless experience. Interestingly, this duration is still shorter than the Pushpa: The Rule – Reloaded version.
With enhanced visuals, improved sound, and a few never-seen-before moments, Baahubali: The Epic promises to give fans a chance to relive the magic, emotions, and grandeur that made the series unforgettable.
Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda has put an end to rumours about a third film in the franchise, confirming that Baahubali 3 is not in the works at the moment.
In a recent interview, Yarlagadda clarified that there are no immediate plans for another movie but shared that the team is exploring ways to expand the Baahubali universe through different formats and new projects.
