Bollywood's newest generation of stars, Rasha Thadani and Ibrahim Ali Khan, made a striking appearance at the Indian Couture Week (ICW) 2025 as they walked the ramp for veteran designer JJ Valaya. Debuting as showstoppers, the young actors turned heads as they confidently walked hand-in-hand, representing Valaya’s vision of East-meets-West couture.

The designer’s latest collection drew inspiration from how the West has historically imagined the mystique of the East. With regal textures and traditional aesthetics reimagined through a modern lens, JJ Valaya’s designs were a perfect match for the debutant stars. Rasha looked ethereal in an intricately embroidered brown lehenga, styled with minimal jewellery and soft, flowing hair, while Ibrahim exuded elegance in a classic black sherwani paired with a pathani-style bottom, blending traditional and contemporary elements seamlessly.

The duo not only carried their outfits with grace but also received widespread appreciation for their poised and confident walk. Their chemistry on the ramp, holding hands and exchanging subtle smiles, added to the charm of the show.

Following the event, Rasha spoke to the media about the significance of her debut and the emotional connection she shares with JJ Valaya’s designs. “2025 has been a year of many firsts for me. Bachpan se (since childhood), I have watched my mom wearing JJ Valaya. I have his iconic prints, and now I feel so grateful to be able to be here and have my first ramp walk at ICW wearing his design,” she shared.
Online reactions were equally enthusiastic. Reddit users drew comparisons between Rasha and other star kids, with one user commenting, “Lowkey impressed with her walk,” while another remarked, “So much better than Jannu, Khushi & Sara for sure.”

Rasha recently rose to fame for her energetic dance in the song Uyi Amma from her debut film Azaad. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Ali Khan was last seen in Sarzameen, alongside Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran, which is currently streaming on Prime Video.
