Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and Television actor Arjun Bijlani share a surprising connection—they were schoolmates and teammates on the same football squad. During the promotions for Shamshera, Ranbir appeared on the TV show Ravivaar With Star Parivaar, where he revealed this lesser-known tidbit about his school days. This revelation delighted fans, showcasing the unexpected bond between the Bollywood superstar and the television actor, both of whom have carved successful careers in their respective industries. Their shared history adds a nostalgic layer to their journeys in entertainment.

Ranbir Kapoor shared on the show that he and Arjun Bijlani both attended Bombay Scottish School in Mumbai, "Log jaante nahi hai yeh magar hum ek dusre ko bachpan se jaante hain (people might not know that we know each other since childhood)."

Ranbir further expressed his joy at witnessing Arjun Bijlani’s growth in the industry, saying, "The fact that you are a father, and you are such a good host. It is really heartwarming to see a colleague of mine, a friend of mine do so well."

Ranbir then shared a wholesome moment with Arjun where he lifted and hugged him.
When Ranbir shared this revelation, fans of both actors were pleasantly surprised. Later, Arjun Bijlani mentioned to ETimes that he had refrained from bringing it up himself, as they were focused on work while on set. “I adore that as an actor, he is amazing. I felt at that time he was coming on the show to promote his film and though I am his childhood friend, we don’t need to show that," he said.

Arjun clarified that he hadn’t asked his production team to organize the interaction with Ranbir. He shared that the moment was entirely spontaneous and initiated by Ranbir, making it a memory he would treasure forever. “It was very spontaneous and I never brought it up, I was just doing my job and was saying something. Suddenly, he stopped me and said it on his own," he contioned

Arjun also mentioned, "Now, I have a memory to say with my childhood friend. He is doing so well in his life and is a big superstar. It was a great feeling and everyone on the sets got emotional. It was really special."
