Television actor Ram Kapoor and producer Ekta Kapoor have recently sparked speculations of a rift. However, the actor has decided to put a full stop to all the speculations.
In a recent interview with NDTV, Ram Kapoor reflected on the drama and suggested that he doesn’t want to escalate the matter any further. Instead, the actor expressed gratitude towards the producer for giving him his first big break.
Ram said, “She can say whatever she wants to, but I will not say a word. Because at the end of the day, she gave me what no one gave me. She believed in me when nobody else did. And for that, I will always be grateful. She has the right to say whatever she wants to about me till the end of my career.”
However, the actor also addressed his wife Gautami Kapoor’s dig at Ekta’s comment on his weight loss. He said, “My wife knows where I stand. It was all in good fun...You cannot forget what someone has done for you.”
For the unversed, the controversy first sparked after Ram Kapoor hinted at a potential feud with Ekta after he admitted that the producer had an issue with the romantic scenes in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain.
However, Ekta took to her social media and took a subtle dig at Ram and wrote, “Unprofessional actors giving interviews about my shows should shut up. False information and skewed stories can only last till I talk. But there is dignity in silence.”
