Actor Rahul Bhat, who was last seen in Black Warrant, is all set to return to the 78th Cannes Film Festival for the third time. However, the actor’s latest appearance marks a major milestone in his career as he will walk the red carpet for the teaser launch of his Hollywood debut film, Lost and Found in Kumbh.

The actor reflected on the milestone moment and said, “It feels like a true homecoming. The Kennedy days hold a special place in my heart, and returning to Cannes with Lost and Found in Kumbh feels just as magical. Sharing the first glimpse of our film here is both an announcement and a celebration.”

Rahul Bhat's starrer Lost and Found in Kumbh is set against the vibrant backdrop of India’s Kumbh Mela. This cross-cultural narrative is helmed by debutant director Mayur Puri and produced by Los Angeles-based Mulberry Films.

The film revolves around a London-based philosophy professor who visits Kumbh Mela with his British wife and son. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he found his Indian ex-wife and son at his family home, and his father went missing during Kumbh Mela. As the family searches for him, the two half-brothers get separated at the crowded festival.

Meanwhile, Rahul made his Cannes debut in 2013 with Anurag Kashyap’s thriller Ugly. The film premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section. However, he returned to the global festival after a decade in 2023 with his film Kennedy. The film notably received widespread acclaim and a notable 7-minute standing ovation.
