Radhikka Madan recalls the time when Irrfan Khan wasn't convinced about her 'drunk act' in Angrezi Medium

Bollywood actress Radhikka Madan, who was recently seen in Sarfira opposite Akshay Kumar, spoke about the time when she worked with the talented Irrfan Khan in 'Angrezi Medium.'

Radhikka had played the role of Irrfan Khan's daughter in the film. She spoke about her shoot experience and one particular scene where she had to act drunk. In an interview with Filmgyan, she spoke about that scene while performing in front of Irrfan Khan and said that initially he wasn't convinced.

"Irrfan sir came on set and unhone bola, 'jhuth hai, main pakad loonga," she said.

Radhikka Madan said then she prepared for the scene so that she looked convincing to the late actor. Radhikka further said that she was finally able to reach a level of "drunkenness" where Irrfan Khan couldn't make out whether she was drunk or not.

"We reached a place where he was like, 'I am not sure' and that's what we rolled," she added.

She also spoke about one regret that she has, that she didn't spend much time with Irrfan Khan during the shoot of Angrezi Medium.

"I thought I would have a lot of time with him to discuss movies, acting, and craft once after the film, but he was going through so much," she said.

Irrfan Khan, who was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor, passed away on April 29, 2020.

Radhikka Madan was seen in Akshay Kumar-starrer Sarfira, where she played the role of his on-screen wife.

In her past interviews, she has also addressed the age gap between her and Akshay.
