Raayan releases on OTT, where to watch the Dhanush starrer

Dhanush starrer Tamil movie Raayan has finally released on OTT today (August 23) and it is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner of Sun Pictures, the film is directed by Dhanush. It was Dhanush's 50th film.

Raayan has an ensemble cast including SJ Suryah, Selva Raghavan, Saravanan, Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Dushara Vijayan Prakash Raj, and Aparna Balamurali in pivotal roles.

Raayan is available on Prime Video in Tamil with dubs in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada in India and across 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Raayan is the story of four siblings who flee their village and find refuge in the city. When they grow up, Raayan played by Dhanush takes on the responsible father figure role to his siblings - Manickam (Kalidas Jayaram) who is a righteous college student, Muthu (Sundeep Kishan) the impulsive brother.

Their bond centers around their sister, Durga (Dushara Vijayan).

Raayan's efforts to marry Durga embroil him in a power struggle between gangsters Sethu (SJ Suryah) and Durai (Saravanan).

A new cop in town (Prakash Raj) manipulates the situation, aiming to clean up the city. The story unfolds as Raayan fights to protect his family amidst escalating challenges.

Raayan, which released on July 26, has collected over Rs 152 crore in its third week. The film has collected a total of Rs 94.68 crore in India Nett. The film has been a hit and fans had been waiting for its release on OTT.

On Thursday (August 22), Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD also released on OTT platform and is running successfully.
