Actress Priyanka Chopra will miss this year's Met Gala, which will be held on May 6.
Priyanka Chopra, who is busy with the promotions of her new documentary 'Tiger' in which she is the narrator, revealed that she is going to skip this year's biggest fashion event, the Met Gala.
Priyanka Chopra told Access Hollywood in an interview that she will have to skip the event due to her work commitment and that she is in the middle of shooting for her next venture.
“I’m definitely not attending this year because I’m filming, but I think I really do enjoy watching people's creativity during the Met Gala, and I am really excited to see how it will turn out," said Priyanka Chopra.
She further added that she hasn't read anything about where all is going this year.'
Priyanka has had a busy past few months. First, she came to India for an event and then her brother's roka ceremony.
Later, she took her daughter Malti and husband Nick to offer prayers at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
Now that she has been shooting in France, she has kept her fans updated about her hectic shoot schedules.
Priyanka Chopra had walked the red carpet at the Met Gala with Nick Jonas in 2017, which was also their first public event as a couple.
This year's Met Gala is going to be held on Monday, May 6, at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This year's theme is The Garden of Time, and it is being co-chaired by Zendaya, Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth.
